Chris Jericho reveals match that Vince McMahon thought was one the worst in WrestleMania history

had a notable match at WrestleMania 33 in 2017 where he battled Kevin Owens after a long-lasting storyline that had played out on WWE television for months.

Many fans including Jericho think that this was one of the best storylines of his career. With such an epic story and high expectations for the conclusion of the program, it was a tough task in front of them.

The former Champion opened up on the storyline and their WrestleMania 33 match during a recent interview with Inside The Ropes. This is where he noted that Chairman and CEO had an interesting reaction to the match.

Jericho admitted that “I thought [the match] was good but it seemed a little bit missing.” He added later added,” So I thought the match was good. I was very surprised when I saw KO after and he’s like, ‘Vince said it was one of the worst matches in WrestleMania history.”

Jericho made it known that he thinks Vince had issues with the match due to the way Owens was presenting his heel character and after the match, Owens getting insulted by McMahon as a kind of “boot camp” for top stars to have to survive in the company.
