According to Diva Dirt sources at Friday’s NXT house show in Green Bay, and also reported at Wrestling Inc., Dakota Kai left the ring during a match with a possible leg injury.

The reported injury occurred during a six-woman tag team match with Kai, Kairi Sane and Candice LeRae vs. NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.

During the match, Kai was in a corner, and went down. The referee threw up the “X” and staff came from the back to tend to Kai, where she was escorted into the back while favoring one leg and limping. The match was continued as a standard tag team match.

Kai has teamed with Sane during house shows, for the last few months. It appears NXT is trying to give Shafir and Duke some in-ring experience by booking them in tag team matches against Kai and Sane, as can be seen in the below photo taken at #NXTMilwaukee
